No matter if you’re new to mahjong, pickleball, or both of the above, because Play! Pickle Serangoon has an event combining the 2 coming your way this June. You might be familiar with the facility, which made waves with its pink courts and themed nights. They also frequently hold lifestyle events, such as the social night which they had back in January.

On 26th June 2026 – that’s 260626, by the way – they’re having their first-ever mahjong x pickleball night, and the date could not be more huat. As with their previous mixers, this event will take place on Friday night, from 8pm-10pm.

To break it down for you, the 2-hour-long event will be split into 4 30-minute sessions, with 2 groups of 16 people alternating between the games at half-hourly intervals.
There will be 4 mahjong tables, as well as 4 courts with doubles rotations, so nobody will be stuck at one game for long.
You can look forward to both a mahjong and pickleball instructor on-site. Don’t let your newbie-ness at either of these games put you off attending! In fact, this would be a great chance for you to pick up both games, and make some friends while you’re at it.
Since the spirit of this event is all about having fun and socialising, there is strictly no gambling permitted, be it with cash or in kind.
Tickets to this social event are $58/pax, and the event is capped at a maximum of 32 participants.
You don’t even have to come with anything besides your outfit – comfortable sports attire – and non-marking court shoes. Everything else will be provided.
