There are also cutesy plush toys that you can gift a loved one or decorate your own home with, designed to look like local foods. These are going for $15 each, or $28 for 2. The rainbow kueh lapis comes with a top layer you can actually “peel”, and a magnet hidden within for it to snap right back.

Head to HomeTeamNS Khatib for Toy Fiesta & mascot meet & greet

In between your shopping spree, there’ll be a Robocar Poli mascot meet and greet which is completely free to attend.

You don’t need to be a HomeTeamNS member, nor do you need to present any Toy Fiesta receipts. All you have to do is be among the first 30 groups who queue up for each timeslot, and you and your little ones will be able to snap a pic with good ol’ Poli and Amber from the hit Korean cartoon show.

The meet and greet will take place at 2pm and 5pm on 6th and 7th June. We recommend reaching about 15 minutes before each timeslot so you’re ready to queue; the line fills up fast!

There will also be additional Toy Fiesta discounts for HomeTeamNS members:

  • For the first 100 members, an extra 20% off with min. $50 purchase

With such hefty savings up for grabs and a free mascot meet and greet that will delight your kids, a trip to HomeTeamNS Khatib seems well worth it for this weekend’s outing idea. Do take note that Toy Fiesta runs from 10.30am to 8.30pm, now till 7th June.

And just to keep things interesting, they’re joined by McDonald’s very own fuzzy and purple monster, Grimace.

DBS/POSB 6.6 deals 2026

You’re not screaming, we are – for the upcoming 6.6 sales, and all the discounts that let us lead our peak shopaholic lives. If you’ve got your eyes set on stuff to cop this 6th June 2026, especially big-ticket items, you’ll be pleased to know that DBS/POSB is spreading some extra sweetness on top of that cake with additional discounts, so you can divert your dollars to other shopping pleasures.

Deals await you when you pay with DBS/POSB Cards, DBS PayLah!, and DBS Instalment Payment Plans (IPP). Fun fact: this 6.6 is no ordinary double digit sale day, because not only is it going to be 6th June, this year is also 2026, and the date falls on Saturday, the 6th day of the week. How cool is that?

Get up to $60 off when you shop on Lazada

DBS 6.6 Kodak Charmera

First up, Lazada deals start at $3 off with a minimum spend of $59, which means that Kodak Charmera ($71.76) that’s been in your cart forever is now a tad more affordable.

Alternatively, you can check out with DBS PayLah! to get $3 off with a minimum spend of $39.

These DBS/POSB Card, DBS IPP, and PayLah! promos are stackable with Lazada’s platform vouchers, so you can maximise the discounts and save big.

DBS 6.6 Simplehuman Trash Bin

You might scoff, because who spends $660 on a dustbin? You just might, if you’ve met the simplehuman 58L trash bin. It’s voice-activated, so you could say, “Open can,” and the bin whooshes open with barely a whisper. Or you could simply wave your hand in front of the infrared sensor for the same.

If you’re looking to splurge on essentials at this price point, fret not, because you can camp for the $60 off $599 voucher for DBS/POSB Cardmembers, dropping at 8pm on 5th June.

Whether you’re gearing up for the upcoming World Cup season or want to make your home movie sessions more cinematic, the LG 55” Ultra HD Smart LED TV ($628) is worth checking out.

You could also split your payments over 12 months with DBS IPP, and you’ll enjoy an immediate $50 off, valid with a minimum spend of $899. That way, you can invest in a more high-end model like the Toshiba 65” 4K QLED AI Smart TV ($899).

Fun fact, Toshiba is the Official TV Sponsor for FIFA! Splitting the charge means a more manageable payment of $70.75 a month if you pay via a 12-month DBS IPP. And with 0 processing fees, 0% interest and 100% ease, you’ll be able to level-up your home entertainment system without breaking the bank.

Up to $60 off & more on Shopee

DBS 6.6 Steam Fryer

Next, get up to $60 off at Shopee when you pay with a DBS/POSB Card – we’re talking $22 off $220, or $60 off $350 spent on the shopping site. So, your Philips 5000 Series SteamFryer – which retails at $459 – could potentially cost $399 or even lower, as there might be merchant promos that can be stacked with the $60 off DBS/POSB Cards promo.

If you’re not looking to make big purchases, there’s also a Shopee VIP x DBS/POSB exclusive deal where you can get $10 off a minimum spend of $50. Shopee VIP Day takes place every Friday, and you’ll also get 3% Shopee coins cashback.

DBS 6.6 Moka Pot

If you’re a serious coffee drinker and fashionista, this Bialetti x Dolce & Gabbana Moka Pot might be the kitchen appliance you’ve always ogled, but never bought. This 6.6, bite the bullet with $22 off, making the $245 Moka Pot cost just $223 after the discount.

You’ll also want to set your alarms for 8pm on 5th June, because that’s when DBS/POSB is dropping all their Shopee coupons, valid for payments using DBS/POSB Cards, PayLah!, as well as DBS IPP.

DBS 6.6 Dyson Airwrap

Then, for the purchases whose price tags have you hesitating, there’s DBS IPP. This fuss-free solution allows you to pay for your big buys over your choice of 6 or 12 months, with 0 processing fees, 0% interest, and 100% ease.

And if you use DBS IPP to cart out purchases of more than $600, such as the Dyson Airwrap i.d multi-styler and dryer ($824), you’ll get an additional $60 off. If we math that for you, it’ll work out to $63.67/month for a year – a much more palatable figure that reduces the strain on your immediate cashflow.

Enjoy up to $12 off on TikTok Shop

DBS/POSB has truly got your back for all those late-night shopping adventures when you’re revenge scrolling instead of sleeping. Make your next TikTok Shop purchases with a DBS/POSB Card and you’ll score $6 off $80, or $12 off $200.

DBS 6.6 D'Alba
d’Alba First Spray Serum.

Pro tip: apply it to your whole cart, rather than a single item, so your entire skincare haul can benefit from the discount, plus free shipping and additional stackable discounts from existing TikTok vouchers.

For instance, the Skintific 4-Piece Skin Barrier Repair set usually retails at $63.45, and the d’Alba First Spray Serum formulated with white truffles costs $24.23. Add them up and you’ll only be paying $81.68 instead of the regular $87.68, thanks to the $6 off voucher.

And if you’ll be adding more items to cart from TikTok Shop’s wide range of everything from lifestyle essentials to viral beauty products, you could save $12 off your total cart once you hit $200 in minimum spend.

Shop 6.6 deals with DBS/POSB

Snow City is closing down

By now, you’ve probably seen the news that Snow City is closing in 2026, and if you felt a tiny pang of sadness, same. For many of us, it was the place for chaotic snowball fights and the novelty of finally seeing “snow” in sunny Singapore. While saying goodbye is going to hurt, Snow City is sending itself off with a One Last Snowfall farewell campaign, which includes discounted tickets and deals before the doors close for good.

When & why is Snow City closing down?

Snow City entrance

Snow City is officially closing on 30th September 2026, 26 years since it launched in 2000. While no exact reason for the closure was disclosed, the Science Centre Board shared that the move is part of efforts to keep its “offerings fresh and relevant”, especially as visitor interests and the attractions scene continue to evolve.

Reddit comment about Snow City closing

Of course, the news has sparked plenty of feelings online. We scoured the internet to see what netizens are saying, and most seem genuinely sad to see a place tied to so many childhood memories disappear. It was the spot for locals to escape the heat and experience a winter holiday without touching their passports.

Reddit comment about Snow City's upcoming closure

However, others pointed out that Snow City hasn’t exactly been the easiest spontaneous outing – being tucked away in Jurong meant it wasn’t the most convenient to get to. Even with newer additions like a 3-storey glacier luge, some felt it wasn’t enough to pull crowds back in consistently.

What can I expect from the One Last Snowfall campaign?

Up to 30% off tickets

Nope, these aren’t second-hand winterwear from Snow City’s storage. While exact discount details haven’t been revealed, Snow City’s Instagram simply teases “amazing deals”, so it might be worth keeping an eye out when you drop by.

And just look at those big, doe-eyed plushies staring back at you. Are you really going to walk away and leave them there?

Head down to Snow City while you still can

Snow City is really one of those places that feels bigger than just an attraction. It’s been a part of school trips and that first “wow” moment of seeing fake snow in Singapore. That’s why this goodbye feels a lot heavier for many of us.

So head down while you still can to relive it all one more time, before it becomes something you only talk about in the past tense.

Free Montigo bottle

Staying hydrated is pretty much a survival skill most Singaporeans have mastered, thanks to our Little Red Dot’s relentless heat. And if you’re one of those people who are emotionally attached to their water bottle, then this PSA might pique your interest: free water bottles are up for grabs at 2 Montigo outlets in Singapore. All you have to do is play a retro-themed game on-site, and you could walk away with a freebie to add to your ever-growing tumbler collection.

How do I take part?

Visitors have won items like the Go Bottle (1,200ml) and Ace Bottle Mini (Purple Cream). There’s a whole range of bottle styles and sizes available, so every win comes with a little surprise.

Even if your gaming skills are lacklustre and you don’t manage to win, you won’t be leaving empty-handed. Participants will receive a discount voucher instead – we think it’s still worth going down to try your luck.

What else must I know before heading down?

A total of 700 drinkware items are available for giveaway, but daily redemptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, and of course, while stocks last.

We also spotted a comment on Montigo’s Instagram post noting that the bottles tend to get redeemed pretty quickly. If you can, head down earlier in the day to avoid missing out.

Grab your free Montigo bottle soon

The worst case is walking away with a discount voucher and a humbling reminder that retro games are harder than they look. Or you might just secure yourself a shiny new water bottle. Either way, your hydration game wins.

Whether you’re in it for the plushies, vouchers, or just an excuse to jalan around Singapore during the June holidays, the SimplyGo Adventure Quest might make your usual commute slightly less sian.

Singapore Garden Festival – Adopt a Plant giveaway

If your HDB corridor already looks like a mini nursery but you still somehow have room for one more plant, this one’s for you. Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) is bringing back its Adopt a Plant giveaway this Saturday, 16th May 2026, at Jurong Lake Gardens.

Visitors can head down to Pagoda Plaza from 5pm to bring home a free plant, while stocks last. The event is part of the lead-up to the 10th edition of SGF, which returns from 4th to 12th July 2026 at Gardens by the Bay.

What is the Singapore Garden Festival?

Singapore Garden Festival - Adopt a Plant giveaway - potted plants
Image credit: Singapore Garden Festival via Facebook

SGF is one of Singapore’s biggest gardening and floral events, featuring large-scale floral displays, landscape exhibits, and gardening showcases. This year marks its 10th edition.

The festival is organised by the National Parks Board and usually features floral installations, gardening workshops, marketplace booths, and landscape displays by international and local designers.

For plant lovers, it’s basically Disneyland, except instead of roller coasters, you come home with Monstera cuttings and suddenly start learning words like propagation.

What is the giveaway all about?

The Adopt a Plant giveaway will take place at Jurong Lake Gardens, specifically at Pagoda Plaza. Organisers have shared previews of the plants that will be available from Noi Gardens, with leafy greens and small potted plants lined up for adoption.

There’s no registration needed. Just show up from 5pm onwards and collect a plant while stocks last. Considering Singaporeans queue for free ice cream, tote bags, and even tissue packets sometimes, you probably want to come earlier lah.

According to the organisers, more Adopt a Plant locations will also be announced in the coming weeks.

Is the plant giveaway free?

Yes, the plants are completely free while stocks last.

Visitors can also get 20% off Singapore Garden Festival tickets

Besides the free plant, visitors who collect one can also enjoy a discount for the upcoming Singapore Garden Festival.

Simply present your plant label at the ticketing counter at Gardens by the Bay to get 20% off festival tickets. The promotion is valid until 12th July 2026.

Here are the original ticket prices for SGF 2026:

Singapore Residents Non-residents
Adult $12 $24
Children (3-12 years old) $8 $15
Seniors (above 60 years old) $8 $24

Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just someone trying to keep one pothos alive on the kitchen windowsill, this is a pretty wholesome weekend activity to check out. Free plant, nice scenery, and discounted festival tickets – not bad, ah?

Just remember to head down early before the queue snakes around the park like it’s bubble tea launch day again.
