From 25th April to 20th June 2026<\/b>, Singapore is getting a massive dose of French culture. We\u2019re talking about more than 26 programmes spread across the island. Whether you\u2019re a hardcore foodie, an art lover, or just someone looking for a free date night spot, there\u2019s something for you. No need to fly 13 hours and deal with jet lag; the French spirit is coming straight to our doorstep.<\/p>\n\n

What is the vOilah! France Singapore Festival 2026?<\/b><\/h6>\n

It is the annual big event for French culture in Singapore. Think of it as a massive party where France shares its food, movies, and art with us. It\u2019s been happening for years and keeps getting bigger.<\/p>\n

The festival is organised by the Embassy of France in Singapore, featuring over 21 partners, including the Asian Civilisations Museum<\/a> (ACM), Science Centre Singapore<\/a>, and Singapore Ballet.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s basically a massive cross-cultural festival featuring art exhibitions, Michelin-starred food markets, film screenings, and high-end fashion theatre. And events are happening all over the Red Dot! Locations range from VivoCity and Sentosa<\/a> to Gillman Barracks<\/a> and the Esplanade.<\/p>\n

The festival starts on 25th April with activities and events lasting till 20th June 2026, so mark your calendars. Most events are easy to access via MRT, and many are free, while others require tickets, which you can grab at the official website.<\/p>\n

This is something truly unique. A group called Spartimu is bringing paghjella, a type of traditional singing from the island of Corsica. It\u2019s recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. It\u2019s raw, powerful, and usually heard in old churches or village bars.<\/p>\n
