The countdown to football\u2019s biggest tournament has officially begun, and if you\u2019re already planning your late-night match screenings, McDonald\u2019s<\/b> has something to make staying up till ungodly hours a little easier. The fast-food giant is rolling out a FIFA World Cup <\/b>collaboration with exciting promos and merch to grab.<\/p>\n

The global campaign brings together some of the biggest names in the sport. We\u2019re talking David Beckham<\/b>, Ronaldinho Ga\u00facho<\/b>, Son Heung-min<\/b>, Thierry Henry<\/b>, and Lamine Yamal<\/b>, all backing the drop. And just to keep things interesting, they\u2019re joined by McDonald\u2019s very own fuzzy and purple monster, Grimace<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Die-hard fans will want to collect the limited-edition blind box collectible cups<\/b>, which come free <\/b>with the purchase of any of the 10 World Cup-themed meals launching from 11th June 2026.<\/p>\n

Each cup features designs inspired by the global football icons – there are 6 designs<\/b> in total to collect, including a special Grimace edition where the cutie is decked out in a football jersey and ready to play the game.<\/p>\n

Kiddos are also getting their own share of the action with Squishmallows-themed Happy Meal toys<\/b>, where they can build their very own dream football squad. Each Happy Meal comes with 1 plush toy dressed in its own mini jersey.<\/p>\n

In total, there are 12 designs<\/b> to collect, with new characters rolling out on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

Those who\u2019ve been faithfully hoarding their McDonald\u2019s app points are finally about to see it pay off. The McDonald\u2019s Football Kit<\/b> can be redeemed using 3,000 points<\/b> at selected stores<\/b>, from 3pm<\/b> on 29th June 2026<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The kit includes a T-shirt <\/b>paired with a set of 3 pins<\/b>. There\u2019s a classic soccer ball pin, a McDonald\u2019s logo and a football wedged right in the centre, and Hamburglar \u201cstealing\u201d the World Cup trophy.<\/p>\n

This World Cup edition, there\u2019ll only be 1 match screening at McDonald\u2019s: the Finals Watch Party<\/b>. It\u2019ll be held at the Marine Cove<\/b> outlet in East Coast Park<\/b><\/a> on 20th July 2026<\/b>, from 2am to 6am<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Tickets can be redeemed via the McDonald\u2019s app using 5,000 points<\/b>, starting from 3pm<\/b> on 30th June 2026<\/b>, with each redemption valid for up to 5 people<\/b>.<\/p>\n
